Dear Patricia, so glad, Brother is the most intelligent/intelectual musican but also person that I have ever known. Tomorrow (sunday) I´m going to Alicante to see him (& Theo Travis). His knowledge, his art work (K.C. Gabriel, Sylvian -my two fav. singers- Eno, or many others) is the Greatest, he is UNIQUE, a jewel.
And you “the” Sister, marvelous.
Big Hug from Spain.
@worldcitizenforever Thank you for saying nice things about Brother. He is so a brilliant and truly kind person.
Robert FRIPP, the man/Mozart of our times, the most important contemporary musician, The “All Seeing Eye”, omnipresent, God playing on earth.
Patricia, I want your shirt.
rolling stones, a joke in comparation to KING CRIMSON, truly the best band ever existed on universe.
i need to get that kind of motivation as my music is going nowhere.
I’m glad modern Prog Rock acts like Tool have kept King Crimson alive via their influence in the music and playing with them live. Hopefully it introduces more and more young music fans to Robert’s wonderful imaginitive music.
Incidentally, my favorite Fripp album is ”Exposure”, clearly not a KC-related piece at all, but truly wonderful. 🙂 I think a lot of his solo work tends to get overshadowed by the KC stuff, unfortunately.
Wonderful video. Robert is a musical treasure.
life affirming, this is.
just great. this was such an amazing find. from every snippet of interviews or reading from his diary entries in the past I’ve always wished something like this existed. Truly great, the perfect example of how the educated mind simply always has something interesting to say.
This is Sister Patricia Fripp remarking that it is great to hear from a fan who realizes my brother has more talents than just teaching and playing the guitar!
Not sure if Robert will ever play with Robert Pollard. Hey…if the situation and money is right who knows???
I love this man. He understands the appropriate setting for formality, and how to address an audience.
I want to see Robert Pollard play a duet show with Robert Fripp.
